Do you accept last-minute reservations?
Yes! As long as there is availability and your group can arrive in time for the start of our luau, we are happy to accommodate any last-minute reservations. However, please note that we recommend making reservations in advance to guarantee your spot and avoid disappointment.
What is the cancellation policy?
We are very flexible and offer a risk-free cancellation policy up to 24 hours before the show. This allows our guests to book with confidence knowing they have flexibility if plans change.
We highly encourage booking our Hawaiian luau early in your trip, as weather conditions can sometimes necessitate rescheduling for later in the week. This approach ensures you don’t miss out on the vibrant experience we strive to provide, despite any potential travel or weather uncertainties.
Will the luau still take place if it rains?
Mauka Warriors Luau takes place outside with a beautiful view of Diamond Head and the Waikiki coastline. In case of rain, we will continue with the show as planned. However, if heavier weather conditions occur, we may have to reschedule or cancel the event.
In the unlikely event of a cancellation, we will notify guests as soon as possible and provide full refunds or rescheduling options.
Do you offer transportation options?
Absolutely! We provide convenient round-trip transportation from multiple pick-up spots in the Waikiki and Honolulu regions. You can add transportation to your reservation for only $30 per person by choosing one of our “With Transportation” options on the booking calendar. This is also where you can check our pick-up locations and times.
ADA-accessible vehicles can be arranged with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Please reach out to us at reservations@maukawarriorsluau.com to make a request.
Do I have to pay for parking?
No, parking is complimentary for guests attending our Hawaiian luau. We have a designated parking lot for our guests to use during the event.
Where are you located?
We are located at 94-1211 Kunia Rd in Waipahu. This is northwest of Honolulu and right next to the Hawaii Country Club.
What days do you offer the luau?
We offer our luau every Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Please check our booking calendar for available dates and times.
What can I expect at Mauka Warriors Luau?
Our Hawaiian luau is a cultural celebration featuring traditional Polynesian performances, including hula dancing, fire knife dancing, and Hawaiian chants. You will also indulge in a delicious island-style buffet dinner with local dishes such as kalua pig, lomi lomi salmon, and taro rolls.
We strive to provide an authentic and immersive experience, filled with aloha spirit and cultural respect. Before the show, guests are welcome to participate in traditional Hawaiian activities such as lei-making, cooking tutorials, authentic Maori games, Hawaiian Ancient Martial Arts, and Polynesian tattoos.
Do you offer vegetarian options?
Yes, we do! When you book your reservation, you can opt for vegetarian alternatives at no extra charge. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate you accordingly.
What should I wear?
We recommend dressing in comfortable, casual attire for the Mauka Warriors Luau. The event takes place outdoors, so we suggest wearing light and breathable clothing to stay cool in the island heat. Don’t forget to bring a light jacket or sweater as evenings can get cool.
When should I arrive?
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the start of the luau to allow time for check-in, seating, and exploring the grounds. Check-in begins at 5:15 PM, and the luau grounds open at 5:30 PM. Luau check-in is at 6:45 PM. As a courtesy to other guests, we ask that you arrive on time to not miss any part of the experience.
Are children welcome?
Yes! Our Hawaiian luau is family-friendly and suitable for all ages and group sizes. Children under 5 years old can attend for free, and discounted tickets are available for children aged 5-12.
Can I sit with someone with a separate reservation?
To ensure that you and your accompanying guests are seated together at the Luau, please enter the last names of all parties or separate reservations you wish to join while you’re booking your reservation.
