The Mauka Champions Fireknife Competition
We just hosted our incredible First Annual Mauka Champions Fireknife Competition on December 6th, 2025! It was an incredible night filled with world-class skill. This is Hawaiʻi’s only team fireknife competition. Furthermore, the competitive energy is amplified by the largest prize money on island, a stunning $25,000!
This competition draws serious talent, led by previous World Champion Fireknife Dancers. You can also explore local food vendors and craft vendors at the show. In addition, this event is now a highlight of the island’s competitive circuit.
First Annual Champions: The inaugural winner was the unstoppable Vaimatina. Second place went to the incredible Mauga Mu.
Next Event Dates: The Oahu Fireknife Competition Schedule will feature us again around the same time. Expect the battle to be held in early December 2026!
How to Attend
You will need a specific Mauka Champions Fireknife Competition ticket for this unique event. Note: This championship is a special event. Your regular luau tickets will not include admission.
